Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data from website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16 years of age. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent the collection of information about children without parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal details about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@greenjoy.nl, and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what legal basis do we process personal data?

The website https://www.greenjoy.nl, used for online bookings and information, is hosted by Yourhosting.
The booking system is provided by Xtreeme Sagl (creator of Planyo.com), based in Lavertezzo, Switzerland, and its storage provider is Amazon SES (US-East Region). This system contains all personal data (with the exception of bank account numbers) necessary for our rental services.
Payments are processed through the payment provider MultiSafepay.nl
Mailchimp.com; we use this for communications regarding our services and email campaigns.
Textmagic.com and Informaxion.nl for receiving and sending text messages related to rentals.
How Long We Retain Personal Data
Greenjoy B.V. does not retain your personal data for any longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
We adhere to the following retention periods: Standard booking data (personal details, booking ID, status, time, price paid) is not automatically deleted but is deleted upon request.
We delete detailed data, such as the logs of the messages we send, after 5 years.
Uncompleted bookings are deleted after 3 months. These are bookings that have not been completed by a customer or renter.
Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties
Greenjoy B.V. does not sell your data to third parties and will only disclose it if necessary to fulfill our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We close a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf, or we ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. Greenjoy B.V. remains responsible for these processing activities.
Cookies, or similar technologies, that we use
Greenjoy B.V. uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, the MRZ (machine-readable zone—the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), your passport number, and your Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than four weeks.
Greenjoy B.V. would also like to inform you that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Greenjoy B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unintended disclosure, and unauthorized modification.
