Absolutely fantasticTook a tour of Haarlem—the canals there are amazing. Of course, the weather was on our side 🙂 Greenjoy really has it all figured out; everything was so well organized.
Great experience & great service (May 2014)I am very satisfied with my experience with Greenjoy Leeuwarden. Not only is the idea of renting boats in Leeuwarden fantastic, but so is how easy it is to use their service. After I had some booking issues and accidentally booked two boats, I received a call from Greenjoy asking whether booking two boats separately, both under my name, was correct or a mistake—what great customer service!

Greenjoy: A Whisper-Quiet Addition to the CityYesterday I took a lovely tour around Haarlem (including Spaarndam, Penningsveer, Vijfhuizen, Heemstede, and Haarlem). Making a reservation, checking in, and setting sail is a piece of cake—it doesn’t get any easier than this to sail a sloop. In short, I highly recommend it as a way to see the city from a different perspective.

It was a fun experience to doOur boat performed flawlessly and was a real asset to the canals of Haarlem. We did have to turn back after fifteen minutes out at sea to let Koos off, though, since he was getting sick as a dog. Well… youth. Upon returning to the home port, we found those down-and-out amateurs from sloop 3 moored in our spot. Of course, it was too much trouble for them to moor properly in their own spot.
A really fun boat rideReally fun, we enjoyed it so much, and it was so peaceful. Maybe it would be helpful to put the boat numbers on the dock, so people know where to moor them…! We’ll definitely do this again!

Well organized—what a wonderful afternoon!We cruised through Haarlem for two hours on the quiet Greenjoy. It was perfectly organized—just hop on, ring the bell, and off we went! I was surprised by how long the battery lasted; after two hours, it was still at 84%. We’ll definitely do it again soon!

We live on the Nieuwe Gracht Hlem and often see GreenJoy’s boats passing by, but we’d never rented a rowboat ourselves. This morning was finally the day—after receiving clear instructions, we got off to an easy start. We had a lovely trip through the canals, and the loop can easily be completed in under two hours. It’s a pleasant, quiet boat that’s very easy to steer. In short, highly recommended!
A Perfect Experience!July 19. Had a wonderful time sailing. Rented a rowboat for three hours—highly recommended! Enjoyed a picnic on the ramparts and admired Haarlem from a different angle! From booking to mooring, it was a very positive experience—DEFINITELY DO IT!

A small suggestion: include in the information that it’s a good idea to bring a few seat cushions or throws.

We had an absolutely wonderful time—the weather was beautiful and the canals were stunning to cruise through. It was just a shame we weren’t allowed to dock anywhere for a drink, but if everyone did that,it would get very crowded along the banks. Definitely worth doing again
