Greenjoy’s electric boats are designed for groups of up to 10 people at most locations. However, due to CE standards and safety regulations, we adhere to a maximum permitted capacity. Since the type of boat may vary by location, the maximum capacity for each location is clearly indicated on the location pages (so be sure to check them carefully!). This maximum capacity is based on adults with an average weight of 80 kg. One adult counts as two children for this calculation.

Greenjoy’s electric boats are designed for groups of up to 8 or 10 people at most locations. At the Haarlem and Vinkeveen locations (and, to some extent, certain spots in Leeuwarden, depending on the specific location), the maximum capacity is 8 people. The boats are 5.50 meters long; some locations offer the XL version (10-person).

  • The maximum recommendation is based on adults with an average weight of 80 kg; one adult counts as two children.
  • Weight and people must be distributed evenly to ensure safe handling.
